Need a ride??? Call 607-535-3555
All transportation services for Schuyler County residents are coordinated through Transportation Link-Line, where trained staff will provide free information and assistance to connect residents with transportation options. Riders may request transportation to meet their personal needs such as for medical appointments, grocery shopping, pharmacy, banking, hair appointments, volunteer assignments and more. Transportation Link-Line also provides free travel training and will assist in trip planning.
Transportation options may include Public Transportation, Dial-a-Ride, Schuyler County Office for the Aging volunteer drivers, Schuyler County Veterans Service Agency volunteer drivers, taxi referrals, or any available specialty services.
Requests should be made as early as possible, with some timing requirements for transit and Dial-a-Ride. Transit deviations must be made by the day ahead, and Dial-a-Ride appointments should be scheduled by noon the preceding day. Rides that utilize volunteer drivers should be made as soon as appointment information becomes available for best results.
For more information on how to schedule a ride, how to utilize public transit, or to request mobility management training, phone Link-Line at 607-535-3555. You may also email link-line@arcofschuyler.org or visit the Facebook page.
Calls are responded to between the hours of 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. It may be necessary to leave a message, so listen carefully to the prompts and follow accordingly.
